Cut detected on rail track

A cut was detected on the railway track near Mohanlalganj railway station here, leading to disruption of train movement on this route for some time but there was no mishap.
"Around 4.30 am gangmen detected cut in the railway track during routine checking after which senior officials were informed immediately," Divisional Manager, Northern Railway A K Lahoti told PTI.
He said movement of trains was stopped on this route.
Lahoti said police and RPF offiers reached the spot and inspected the track, which was repaired at train traffic resumed at 7 am.
A senior police officer said it seemed to be the handiwork of subversive elements and the matter was being investigated.
Earlier also such incident was detected on this route near Mohanlalganj.
