CBI today got permission to conduct lie-detector test on two Santan Sanstha members - Hemant Shinde and Nilesh Shinde - in connection with the murder case of rationalist Narendra Dabholkar.
The agency, which is probing the case, had sought permission from a Pune court which gave its nod.
The duo was allegedly found "deceptive" during their psychological and statement analysis done by CBI.
Dabholkar was shot dead by unknown assailants in Pune on August 20, 2013.
The Sanstha had claimed that CBI was "falsely implicating" its seekers - Hemant Shinde, Nilesh Shinde, Niraj Yengul, Mahendra Sahasrabudhhe, Yashavant Sahasrabudhhe and Krushna Kumbhar.
The Bombay High Court had transferred the probe to CBI on May 9, 2014 on a PIL filed by former journalist Ketan Tirodkar on the plea that there was no headway several months after the killing of the eminent rationalist.
