Dacoits loot passengers on running train, 1 injured

Armed dacoits looted ornaments, mobiles and other valuables worth several lakhs of Rupees from passengers of Dehri-Gaya Passenger train near Paraiya station in the district today, a railway officer said.
One passenger Mahender Prasad was injured while fighting with the dacoits. He has been taken to Gaya Railway Hospital, Paraiya railway station manager Samarjit Kumar said.
The dacoits got down from the train before Paraiya station by pulling chain.
The passengers protested against the dacaoity demanding immediate action when the train reached Paraiya, the station manager said.
The train was halted at Paraiya station for an hour before it left for Gaya, its last destination.
