'Twilight' actress Dakota Fanning has been tapped in for the movie adaptation of Susannah Cahalan's autobiography 'Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness'.
The 20-year-old actress, who played Jane Volturi in 'Twilight' series, will be portraying the book's author in the movie that depicts the young woman's terrifying descent into madness, reported Ace Showbiz.
The book chronicles the swift path of Cahalan's illness at the age of 24. She remembers waking up in a hospital with no recollection of the events of the previous month, during which time she was told she had violent episodes and delusions.
Movie rights to Cahalan's bestselling memoir are bought by Charlize Theron's production company Denver and Delilah. The 'Prometheus' actress is also expected to portray a supporting role in the upcoming true-story drama.
