Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area (DBA) bagged the overall Southern Command Cross Country Championship, with Havildar B Srinu winning the 10 KM championship held at the Madras Regiment Centre at Wellington in Nilgiris District today.
Srinu of DBA clocked the best timing of 32.10 minutes.
Sepoy H Lingaraj, also of DBA, and Naib subedar Karan Singh of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa (MGG) area followed with timings of 32.28 m and 32.41 m to claim individual medals.
DBA emerged the overall champions.
MGG Area and 11 Infantry Division were second and third respectively in the championship in which 10 teams, each comprising six members, participated, an official release said here.
