Dalai Lama asks Suu Kyi to intervene in Myanmar ethnic clashes

Lobsang Choedak, Press Officer of Tibetan Government in Exile said in Dharamsala that the Dalai Lama's representative in New Delhi has also tried to seek an appointment with the Myanmar embassy to convey his views about this serious human rights' problem.

It is not the first time that the Dalai Lama has expressed such concern, he had also appealed the Sri Lankan authorities to find a peaceful solution during the conflict between the Sinhalese and Tamils in Sri Lanka.
