Managing director AP Infrastructure Development Corporation A Samba Siva Rao and other officials met the delegation, comprising six officials of commercial property developer Dalian Wanda Group, and briefed them on the plans of the state government in expanding businesses and various forthcoming projects.
Rao on the occasion told the Chinese delegation that Andhra Pradesh is the best destination for investments for a foreign company, particularly for the South East nations due to proximity with the state through the sea route, an official release said.
Each port will be alloted around 2000 acres of land to develop ancillary activities near the ports.
The government has also proposed to develop inland waterways by connecting all the six ports for easy movement of goods from and to the ports, it said.
