Govind Sondarva (70) and his family members Rasik (25), his wife Usha (22) and Aluben (55) poured kerosene to set themselves ablaze, the police said, adding that policemen present there foiled the attempt and took them into custody.
Govind and his family were demanding action against Ramnik Sondarva, former sarpanch of Khatli town who had allegedly grabbed government land, the police said.
