According to a complaint filed by the victim yesterday, accused Tauhid along with his wife Tabassum and brother-in-law Pappu held the woman captive for the past five months at his residence.
The accused brought her to the house on the pretext of getting her a job. The man raped her and forced to adopt the religion, police said.
However, she managed to escape yesterday and reached an Ashram where she narrated the whole incident, they said.
Medical examination was done on the victim, police said, adding the investigation is underway and no arrests have been made so far in this connection.
