Damaged power line in Poonch to be restored soon: JK minister

The Jammu and Kashmir today said the damaged 132 KV-HT line in Poonch will be restored by this month.
"The restoration work on damaged 132 KV-HT line in Poonch is going on war footing basis and power supply will be restored by this month," state Technical Education and Power minister Vikar Rasool Wani said at a joint meeting of district officers, members of civil society and Sarpanches in Poonch,
"The government has released Rs 517 crores under State Disaster Relief Fund for the purpose," he said.
The transmission lines in the Poonch got badly damaged during a snowstorm in the area in February.
