Damon Gupton leaving 'Criminal Minds'
The 44-year-old actor joined the popular series last autumn, following the abrupt exit of original cast member Thomas Gibson.
He was one of the several new series regulars added this past season, along with Paget Brewster, who returned as a regular, reported Deadline.
However, it is unclear whether "Criminal Minds" would bring a new regular cast member to fill Gupton's place.
The show will return for its 13th season in September.
