As many as 2372 students participated in the 12-minute programme.
The choreograph of the dance programme had been designed for 30 Thirukurual (famous tamil couplets) under the title "A Global record in Ulaga Podhu marai(Global Tamil vedam-Tirukural).
The students danced explaining the meaning of the couplets through facial expressions and dance steps, officials said today.
Athista Balan, director of Adavallan Isai Tamil Trust said the 2100 students participated in the dance programe held at the same venue.
