Dancing with revolver at pvt event lands UP cop in soup

The video of a police sub-inspector dancing at a function while carrying his service revolver went viral online following which the Uttar Pradesh police has ordered a probe.
The sub-inspector has been shunted to police lines in Gonda.
"A probe has been ordered against sub-inspector Brijbhushan Yadav who was posted at Mankapur police station in Gonda after a video showing him dancing at a function with his service revolver on went viral on the social media. The probe was ordered yesterday," Superintendent of Police (SP) of Gonda Sudhir Kumar Singh said.
The SP said that the sub-inspector had gone in his personal capacity in plain clothes to attend the programme.

"He started dancing with the hosts, but was still carrying his service revolver, which was quite visible. The incident dates back to April 21, and action was initiated, as soon as we got the information," SP Gonda said.
