The 36-year-old music composer, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman, has gone on a Twitter rampage slamming the EDM duo for their music.
"Sorry, I just made the terrible mistake of listening to a Chainsmokers song. At least the first six seconds of it. I was trying to do something.
"I also need to learn how to unroll a suit. @thechainsmokers I used to just say you were s**t for fun. Now I'm 100 per cent convinced you're s**t," Deadmau5 wrote.
"You know what I did though? For real. Listened to the "top whatever songs" just to see if I was about to be blown away. Nope. Just dead inside," he wrote.
