San Diego Comic-Con has announced that there will be a special screening of an extended version of the recently released Ryan Reynolds-starrer "Deadpool 2".
The schedule for July 21 of the Comic-Con lists two "Deadpool" events - a panel discussion on the film and a showcase of "Deadpool 2: Uncut", Collider reported.
The studio promised some "surprises" in the screening which will more than likely include deleted and extended scenes.
Director David Leitch had confirmed earlier this year that the extended cut of the film, written by Reynolds, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, was in the works.
"There's an extended cut. And I think that they may want to spin that out as a special thing, but right now I'm sort of...
"We're taking our time, and it's going back to the 'director cut,' and then sort of collaborating with Ryan, Rhett and Paul, and making sure we're all getting all the jokes we want - to have it be fun and our sort of fun collaboration," Leitch said.
Also featuring Josh Brolin, TJ Miller, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapacic and Leslie Uggams, the film released on May 18.
