The student succumbed to injuries late last night at a hospital here, they said.
The bus skidded off a mountainous road and fell into a 300-ft gorge at Kandiwara in Kokernag area yesterday. While four students died on the spot, others succumbed to injuries at hospitals.
The mishap took place when the driver of the bus, which was on way to Kokernag from Diyalgam to drop students of a private high school, lost control while negotiating a blind curve.
The J&K government has announced ex-gratia relief of Rs 1 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 10,000 each for the injured.
