Balakrishnan, a driver by profession and Sumitra, a worker in banyan factory, of different castes, were in love for the last few months, police said.
Learning about the affair, the parents of Sumitra, arranged her marriage with another person, they said.
Meanwhile, Sumitra was reported missing from June 22 and the parents lodged a complaint with local police, who carried out search for her, police said.
Later the bodies were found in a well in farm.
