"Satyarthi, who has done tremendous work for child rights to free children from bonded labour and to make childhood happy, won crores of hearts with his work. Today, entire India feels proud on his getting the Noble Peace Prize," Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said.
Upadhyay said, "Amidsts this happiness, we also feel the pain that during last 10 years, while countries like Germany, Spain, Italy and America honored Kailash Satyarthi for his work, the Congress government ignored his work. It is a matter of distress that a man who has been honored with Noble Prize and other international awards has no award from his own country.
