Delhi Congress to start campaign to expose BJP and AAP

Congress will start a "Jan jagran abhiyaan" against the BJP and AAP to "expose" these parties from August 20, the day of Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary.
"Congress has decided to launch "Jan jagran abhiyaan" against the BJP and AAP from August 20 in Jahangirpuri. During this campaign, it will expose both parties, which are two sides of the same coin," DPCC chief Arvinder Singh Lovely told reporters here.
He said that Arvind Kejriwal's allegation that the Congress did not allow the AAP to govern during its 49-day rule was totally baseless.
"Kejriwal's allegations is totally baseless. The truth is that during the 49-day rule in Delhi, neither Kejriwal, nor any of his associates, had any discussion with the Congress leaders, nor they had any telephonic talks. Therefore, to say that the Congress did not allow the AAP to govern only proved its own confusion and inefficiency," he said.

Another Congress leader Haroon Yusuf alleged, "Kejriwal is enacting the drama of people interaction to attack the Congress, so that in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, he could divide the secular votes and help the BJP form a government in the national capital."
Yusuf also said that the decision to end the monthly financial assistance of Rs 600 to over two lakh people was taken by the AAP Government.
The Congress leader blamed the AAP Government of stopping the pension of over 50 lakh elderly people.
Criticising the AAP, DPCC chief spokesperson alleged, "AAP has removed the details from its website about the records of of the crores of rupees it had collected from the poor people in the name of stopping corruption, Jan Lokpal and Swaraj. AAP did not have 33000 volunteers and Kejriwal was using paid volunteers to save the adjacent two-three seats of his Assembly constituency.
