Delhi gets some respite from sizzling heat

After a long spell of searing heat, Delhiites today got some respite as maximum temperature took a slight dip and settled close to 40 degree Celsius.
The day temperature in the national capital was recorded at 40.4 degree Celsius, which was normal for this part of the season and 2.4 degree down from yesterday's 42.8 deg C, according to MeT officials.
Minimum temperature remained the same as it was yesterday at 27.8 degree Celsius. It was one notch above normal.
Humidity remained between 17 and 55 per cent.
Weather department has predicted mainly clear sky for tomorrow. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 42 deg C and 27 deg C.
