Delhi government shuffles 2 IAS, 8 DANICS officers

The Delhi government today transferred two IAS and eight DANICS officers with immediate effect.
Delhi Home Secretary S N Sahai, a 1986-batch IAS officer, has again been given additional charge of Finance Secretary in the Kejriwal governemnt.
Another IAS officer Dharmendra Sharma has been transferred and posted as the Chairman of Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB). Sahai was looking after the Finance Department as its Secretary till last month.
As per the order issued by the Services Department, DANICS officer D Varma, who was posted as Deputy Commissioner (excise department), will be new Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister.
DANICS officer Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, who was awaiting posting, has been posted in South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) on deputation.
Other DANICS (Delhi, Andaman Nicobar Island Civil Services) officers who were transferred are Special Home Secretary K Mahesh, Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters, Revenue) Devesh Singh, Special Director (Woman & Child Department) Sanjeev Kumar and Assistant Commissioner (excise) Anoop Thakur.
Mahesh has been posted as Deputy Commissioner (North MCD) while Devesh Singh has been transferred to NDMC as its Deputy Commissioner. Sanjeev Kumar and Thakur have been posted as Deputy Commissioner (SDMC) and Director (Panchyati) respectively.
