The Delhi government has appointed two special public prosecutors to conduct the trial in the murder case of photographer Ankit Saxena in West Delhi's Khyala area in February.
"The government has appointed senior lawyers Rebecca Mammen John and Vishal Gosain as special public prosecutors in the Ankit Saxena murder case," an official said.
In February, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had assured Saxena's family of all possible help from the AAP government.
The 23-year-old photographer was allegedly killed by family members of a woman with whom he was in a relationship.
The woman's family had opposed her relationship with Saxena as the two belonged to different communities.
The woman's father, mother and uncle were arrested in connection with the killing, while her minor brother was apprehended.
