Delhiites to get some respite from scorching sun

A partly cloudy sky and possibility of thunderstorms in some areas may cause mercury to fall below 40 degree Celsius today, giving some respite to Delhiites from sweltering heat.
According to MeT department, the day temperature is expected to be around 39 degree Celsius with partly cloudy sky and thundry developments are expected in some areas of the national capital.
The maximum temperature settled at 41.7 degree Celsius yesterday which was three degrees above normal.
The minimum temperature settled at 26.4 degree Celsius, one point above normal and slightly up from 26.2 degree Celsius from the previous day.
