Delhiites wake up to cool morning

It was a cool morning in the national capital today with the minimum temperature settling at 16.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

The morning was also marked by mist and smoke and it will take some more days for the fog to finally appear, a Meteorological Department official said.

The day ahead will be marked with mainly clear sky. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, he said.

The relative humidity at 8.30 am was recorded at 85 per cent.

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 33.1 and 17 degrees, respectively.
