A demand was made in the Lok Sabha for a statement from Home Minister on the recent killing of Communist leader Govind Pansare.
Raising the issue during zero hour, Rajiv Satav (Congress) said when rationalist Narendra Dabholkar was killed, the intelligence agencies had warned that the next target could be Pansare.
He regretted that despite such warning, the Communist leader was not provided protection.
Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Pratap Rudy objected to the Congress member raising a state matter.
