It was business as usual today and no long-queues were seen in banks or ATM booths, Assistant General Manager of the State Bank of India Aizawl Branch, Pradeep Kumar Sen, told PTI.
Sen said that the last consignment of cash from the Reserved Bank of India was received on Sunday and another consignment was expected to arrive any day.
"We have confirmation that the new Rs 500 note would be there in the next consignment which would further ease the problem of transactions," Sen said.
