In an evenly contested match, Dempo Goa defeated Bhavanipur FC Kolkata 2-1 in a Group 'D' encounter in the Federation Cup football tournment here today.
At half time Bhavanipur was leading 1-0.
Deependu Dawary scored in the ninth minute for Bhavanipur while Alvin George equalised for the Goan team in the 67th minute. Betto scored the winning goal in the 75th minute.
