The 44-year-old actress has filed a USD 1.2 million lawsuit against her ex-husband for allegedly not providing all the financial support he promised for their daughters Sam, 11, and Lola, 10.
But attorney Martin Singer claims the "Wild Things" star is just trying to "squeeze as much money as she can" out of the 50-year-old actor, reported Femalefirst.
"I've been representing Charlie for more than 20 years. Patty (Glaser) is just the latest in a long string of lawyers who Denise has hired to squeeze as much money as she can out of Charlie. This motion has nothing do with their children. Denise is simply being greedy," Singer said.
Denise, who also has a four-year-old adopted daughter, Eloise, has also hit out at Charlie's lawyer for not putting her kids first.
She tweeted: "Marty Singer u being the trustee should support a mom fighting to keep it intact for the children. It's their money, not mine or your client.
