The Department is monitoring the situation very closely and the doctors and carers in government hospital have been sensitised. All the private hospitals have been asked to immediately inform if they come across patients showing similar symptoms, Deputy Director of Health Services K Senthil Kumar said, adding they have a stock of 6,000 tamiflu tablets.
An isolation ward has been formed at the Government Rajaji Hospital here, Dr Revathy Kailairajan, Dean, Madurai Medical College and Government Rajaji Hospital said, adding, so far no swine flu patient had been admitted in the ward.
