Deputy-Commissioner of Election Commission, Sudhir Tripathi, who is also in-charge of the state, via video conferencing from the Chief Election Office here today, asked DEOs to set up single window system for political parties, issue photo identity cards, display EVMs to voters and set up facilities at booths, an official spokesman said here.
Every instruction and guideline of EC should strictly be followed and the candidates coming to file nominations should be apprised of every important information as desired, Tripathi said.
In another official circular, the CEO asked the DEOs to put up "voter's oath" on the notice board at every polling booth for voters to express faith and confidence in the electoral and democratic process.
