Department of Posts makes special arrangement for Rakhi mails

The Department of Post has set up special counters across 34 post offices as well at two main railway stations in the National Capital to handle the heavy rush of Rakhi mails.
"Department of Posts has made special arrangements for handling of Rakhi Mails from July 21, 2014 to August 10, 2014. Special posting counters are being set up in 34 important Post Offices of Delhi and Delhi Railway Station and New Delhi Railway Station during this period," an official statement said.
Rakhi festival is on August 10 which is Sunday.
"To avoid last minute rush, customers are advised to post Rakhi well in time," the statement said.

The post office which will have special facility for handling Rakhi mails include Delhi GPO, Sansad Marg, Malviya Nagar, Mehrauli, RK Puram, Sarojini Nagar, Lodhi Road, Janakpuri, Seelampuri, Lajpat Nagar, Karol Bagh, Rohini, Kalkaji, Sriniwas Puri, New Delhi RMS and Old Delhi RMS.
