Devotees witness celestial wedding

A large number of devotees today thronged Sri Meenakshi Amman temple here to witness the celestial wedding of Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareswarar.
The celestial wedding was held at "Adi Veethi" where a giant pandal had been put up for the devotees.
A grand feast was also organised near the temple forthe devotees.
Celestial wedding is part of the 20 day chitra festival.
