In the wake of ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the border, Director General, Border Security Force (BSF) D K Pathak today asked the jawans to retaliate strongly in case of any further unprovoked firing.
Pathak reviewed the security situation at Pindi border outpost along IB, where unprovoked firing by Pakistani Rangers had killed one jawan and injured six others yesterday.
When asked about repeated ceasefire violations by Pakistan, Pathak said BSF jawans have been asked to retaliate strongly.
He also held a meeting of senior officers of Jammu frontier at the post and reviewed the security arrangements in place.
