The complaint was withdrawn after the airlines and the pilots expressed regret over the issue, a DGCA official said.
The DGCA had, on June 6, filed a police complaint against 34 pilots of Jet Airways, IndiGo, SpiceJet and GoAir for allegedly posting "obscene" messages on a WhatsApp group against one of its senior officials.
Delhi police had questioned 13 pilots based on the complaint.
"Airlines have also been informed to put in place SOPs (standard operating procedures) on the issue and sensitise their personnel," the DGCA official said.
"In view of all above, DGCA has withdrawn the complaint," the official said.
