Dholpur bypoll: Ban on publishing, broadcasting of exit poll

The publishing or broadcasting of exit poll of the by-election to Dholpur state assembly seat, scheduled on April 9, has been banned, the Chief Electoral Officer said today.
The ban will remain effective from April 9 to April 12.
"As per the directives of Election Commission, airing of exit poll will remain banned during the period," CEO Ashwini Bhagat said.
He said publishing or broadcasting of the exit poll content through any means has also been banned.
