Addressing a public meeting at the Gandhi Square here, Singh said various 'panchayats' held at the Chief Minister's residence reflected corruption.
He alleged that rules were being violated with impunity in Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's assembly constituency and in Vidisha, the Lok Sabha constituency of Leader of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj.
An official spokesman, when contacted, said there was not much to comment on the charges levelled by Singh.
"This is an election year in Madhya Pradesh and such charges, even if not true, can come from the leader of the opposition party," he said.
