Shares of Dilip Buildcon surged 11 per cent today as the company won a Rs 1,004 crore contract in Madhya Pradesh from National Highways Authority of India(NHAI).
The stock soared 10.80 per cent to end at Rs 1,109.30 on BSE. During the day, it zoomed 12.87 per cent to Rs 1,130.
At NSE, shares of the company jumped 11 per cent to settle at Rs 1,114.25.
The company's market valuation rose by Rs 1,479.87 crore to Rs 15,171.87 crore.
In terms of equity volume, 1.78 lakh shares were traded on BSE and over 10 lakh shares changed hands at NSE during the day.
"DBL has received letter of award by NHAI for a new hybrid annuity project valued at Rs 1,004 crore in Madhya Pradesh," the company had said in a filing to BSE on March 29, 2018.
