Veteran actress Dimple Kapadia is likely to do Anees Bazmee's 'Welcome Back', the sequel to 2007 hit masala comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
Few days back there was a buzz that the makers of the sequel are keen to have Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha. Big B was supposed to play the part of don RDX which was earlier essayed by late actor Feroz Khan in 'Welcome' while Rekha was to be a wealthy fashionista who finds herself in the centre of a love triangle.
But apparently both of them won't be doing the film. Now there are reports that Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia will essay those parts in the sequel.
"I have been approached but let producers announce it. Producers have to answer I cannot say anything at this point of a time," Dimple said without divulging any details.
Actors Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor will be reprising their roles in 'Welcome Back', while John Abraham and Shruti Hassan are the new additions.
