Discussion on budget marred by verbal feud between TRS, TDP

General discussion on the budget remained inconclusive as the day's proceedings here at Telangana Legislative Assembly today were marred by verbal exchanges between the ruling TRS and opposition TDP.
The House was adjourned for a brief 10 minutes thrice and eventually for the day.
Senior TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy sought to move a privilege motion against Information Technology Minister K T Rama Rao for 'insulting' TDP MLAs by calling them "stooges of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu".
In turn, the TRS legislators also demanded an apology from TDP members for alleging in the House yesterday that Nizamabad MP K Kavitha (TRS) had enrolled her details at two places during the Comprehensive Household Survey, pointing at a mismanagement in the survey.

Senior Congress MLA Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka raised a point-of-order and expressed displeasure over sidetracking discussion on the budget.
Finance Minister Etela Rajender and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao joined the issue with the TDP legislators, leading to a din and adjournment of the House.

The entire Question Hour was consumed by discussion on a question over adulteration of milk which led to two adjournments. TRS and TDP legislators exchanged words over the issue of quality of milk supplied by a company owned by Chandrababu Naidu's family.
TRS members alleged that the company was found to be supplying adulterated milk and was banned by Kerala government.

Supporting the allegations, K T Rama Rao flashed a purported order issued by Kerala government banning the company's milk.
