DM Vimal Kumar Sharma has fixed the auction of Modi Sugar Mills on March 20 to ensure the payment by the month end.
Deputing the Additional District Magistrate (executive) Uday Singh for conducting the auction, the DM instructed him to issue short time notice for the sale of Modi Distillery and Modi Bhawan also.
"Strict orders have been issued and the sugar mill owner has to make payment of arrears to sugar farmers at all costs. No relaxations will be allowed to mill owners.
In compliance of the order, the ADM issued strict instructions to Modi Nagar Nayab Tehsildar to seal the Modi Distillery and Modi Bhawan on March 9 and proceed for the auction.
