: The CPI(M) today charged DMK and AIADMK with adopting contradictory stands towards the BJP.
Speaking to reporters here, party state president G Ramakrishan said DMK chief M Karunanidhi, who had not criticised Narendra Modi in his campaigns and even praised him earlier, had suddenly raked up the BJP leader's marital status.
Similarly, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa too had not criticised Modi in her campaigns earlier. Now, she had started criticising BJP on the Cauvery issue. "Her criticism of BJP Is suspicious and doubtful, Ramakrishnan said.
"Both DMK and AIADMK are not reliable. They had adopted contradictory stands vis a Vis the BJP since 2003 and had supported the party," he said.
