DMK calls upon MPs from Puducherry to adopt villages

Opposition DMK today urged the MPs from Puducherry to respond to the Prime Minister's call to adopt villages in their constituencies under "Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana" scheme.
This request was made by Dr M A S Subramanian, Convenor of the party's local unit in a release here today.
Several BJP MPs and also those belonging to its alliance partners and the DMK have already done this, he said.
The Union Territory has one member each in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
