DMK welcomes SC verdict on Aadhaar
The DMK Wednesday welcomed the Supreme Court verdict on Aadhaar saying it brought relief and upheld provisions that enabled social inclusion.
"The Supreme Court #AadhaarVerdict brings relief in the sense that while upholding sections that enable social inclusion, it has struck down provisions curbing citizens' rights to privacy & consent," party chief MK Stalin said in a tweet.
Further, he said, "A welcome change is that Aadhaar is not mandated in schools & for entrance exams."
