Docs should keep abreast of innovations: Bedi

Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today asked doctors and medical students to keep abreast of innovative developments in the medical field.

She urged them to take up research projects in a coordinated and collaborative manner to treat patients.

Bedi was speaking after inaugurating a three-day second annual meet of students of undergraduate medical courses from different parts of the country and abroad at JIPMER here.

JIPMER Director Vishnu Bhat was also present.
