"It seems to be a case of swine flu. Dr Baljeet Singh, a doctor at a hospital in Bishnah, was today shifted to our hospital in a critical condition," Dr R R Paul medical superintendent GMC Jammu told PTI.
He said that the condition of the doctor was "not stable".
"There are 22 suspected swine flu patients admitted in our hospital but their culture report is still awaited," he said.
"Today we collected 25 new samples whereas the report of the earlier samples is still awaited," Dr Baljeet Pathania Director Health Service Jammu said.
He said that the so far only five people have been tested positive for the H1N1 virus in the Jammu region.
"From all the reports that we have received so far only five people have been tested positive with swine flu," he said.
He said that the department has received the culture report of a student from Rajouri, who died in a hospital in Chandigarh two days ago, was tested positive for the swine flu virus.
