Doctor suspended in corruption case

The government yesterday placed the services of a doctor under suspension after getting complaints of his alleged role in a corruption case, an official spokesman said.
"The Minister for Health and Medical Education Chowdhary Lal Singh received a complaint from one Sohan Lal, against Dr Nisar Hussain a post graduate student at Pediatric department, SMGS, hospital Jammu," he said.
The spokesman said the doctor allegedly indulged in corrupt practices of obtaining Hepatitis B immunoglobulolin injections and the Minister ordered immediate suspension and enquiry into the matter.
"The Principal and Dean, Government Medical College, Jammu Dr Ghanshyam Dev has suspended the doctor Nissar Hussain with immediate effect," he said.
