Doctor 'thrashed', wife 'molested' by men drinking in

A surgeon from Gangaram hospital was allegedly thrashed and his wife molested by three men after he objected to their drinking in washroom of a restaurant in posh Rajouri Garden in west Delhi.
The doctor alleged that a PCR van reached the restaurant after half-an-hour of the incident on Sunday last and an FIR was registered three days later.
According to the surgeon, two of the three youths were inside the washroom with their drinking glass when he had knocked its door as his son had to use the loo.
When he and his son were going out of the washroom, the youths started making obscene gestures and when the doctor objected, they got into a fight with him. They allegedly molested his wife when she intervened in the matter, he said.

The matter is being probed and CCTV footage of the restaurant is being examined to identify the accused, said a senior police officer.
