Spanning an area of 90,000 square feet, the facility can produce up to 20,000 fuel dispensers per year, a release said.
Along with the dispenser products, the Navi Mumbai facility will also produce fuel retailing offerings of DFS sister company, OPW, specifically designed for the requirements of the India, Africa and Middle East markets, the company said.
"Currently, we have manufacturing facilities in the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden, France, China, and Brazil and previously had a manufacturing facility for Tokheim in Navi Mumbai. Dover's aspirations for this market and surrounding region require an exceptional manufacturing facility, which we are creating with this new factory," DFS President David Crouse said.
