The 27-year-old 'Take Care' hitmaker, who still managed to get the part, admitted that he was under the influence of drugs when he was auditioning for Canadian series 'Degrassi: The Next Generation' which proved as a big break, reported Contactmusic.
"It was the first audition I went on, and it was a real pivotal day of my life. But it was also the day that I got accepted by these real cool Jewish kids at school," he said.
The rapper also revealed that it was also his first time when he did drugs.
"I showed up to the audition, and got just a little less paranoid, and did what I could. I was devastated, and couldn't tell my mom, but I ended up getting a call back and getting the role," he added.
