Shakeel has been taken into custody on a complaint by the woman that he molested her when the Belgaum-bound bus from Bangalore was passing through Bankapura around 3.30 AM with the co-driver at the wheels, Haveri SP Chetan Singh Rathore told reporters today.
As the woman raised an alarm, another passenger made his way to the co-driver and asked him to drive the bus to Bankapura police station, Rathore said.
The woman in her complaint alleged that Shakeel molested her while she was asleep, he said, adding investigation was on.
